“The RE:GENERATION MUSIC PROJECT produced in association with The GRAMMYs® examines the history of different music through the eyes of five of the most influential electronic producer/DJ’s in music today. Mark Ronson, DJ Premier, The Crystal Method, Pretty Lights and Skrillex each take a specific musical style and explore it by writing and recording a brand new track with a grouping of influential collaborators in that genre.” [via]

The track “Breakn’ A Sweat” features up and coming dubstep producer Skrillex as he combines forces with the remaining members of The Doors.

DJ Premier’s tracks “Regeneration” features Nas and the Berklee Symphony Orchestra.

Pretty Lights’ “Wayfaring Stranger” features LeAnn Rimes and Dr. Ralph Stanley.

The Crystal Method’s track features Martha Reeves and the Funk Brothers.

Skrillex has recently released a brand-new track titled “Syndicate,” which was crafted specifically for, and titled after, Electronic Arts’ first person shooter videogame that will be released on 02/12/2012. From his latest More Monsters And Sprites EP, Skrillex has released a video for the single “First of the Year (Equinox,)” which opens with a killer reggae groove before erupting into a bass explosion at the 1:25 mark.

A few months ago, the up-and-coming dubstepper Skrillex took to this twitter/facebook account to let his fans know that he had lost his music files due to a theft of some equipment. Lucky for us, Skrillex has been working hard to bang out some new tracks in his studio, which is currently set up in his tour bus. Below, you can check out Skrillex as he adds his own touch to Nero‘s “Promises,” and Snoop Dogg‘s “Sensual Seduction!”

A few days ago, Diplo released his Moombahton 2k11 Mix, which will certainly be cranked many times by us throughout the summer. Included on the mix is the Diplo and Skrillex collaboration, “Amplifier,” which features a blend of tropical, electro beats, with some good ole fashioned bass wobble. PS .. Diplo must have known that we LOVE sloths!

Late last week, Skrillex announced that he would be releasing 3 new tracks, along with 4 remixes of his highly popular “Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites,” on the appropriately titled More Monsters and Sprites EP. While we previously brought you the teaser for the new release, some full tracks are certainly needed to satisfy that dubstep fix you’ve all been having.

Skrillex recently took to his facebook account to give away the first release in his Free Treats series. The tracks feature Skrillex, 12th Planet, Flinch, and Zedd, and are a solid mix of electro and dubstep. What a perfect treat for the Memorial Day weekend!

While Korn has not gotten any rotation in my musical listenings since middle school, their upcoming collaboration with Skrillex is something my ears will certainly make time for. This May, Korn will be releasing a new EP, which will feature the Skrillex collaborated single “Get Up.” In regards to the project, Korn’s lead singer, Jonathan Davis, reported to Spin that he “heard a few of Skrillex’s re-mixes and really felt there would be a good chance that he would have the right sensibility to connect us to a new hard sound and direction, but still keeping Korn guitars and our vibe.”

In what appears to be a somewhat daily occurrence as of late, we have found another new Skrillex track to fill the dubstep portion of your heart. The track is titled “Gettin It”, features Foreign Beggers, and can be heard in the footage below from one of Skrillex’s performance at this year’s Ultra Fest.

For those music fans who enjoy some gaming, and have seen the latest trailer for Mortal Kombat 9, you might have noticed that a brand new track from everyone’s favorite dubstepper Skrillex is featured in the game/trailer. The title of the track is “Reptile’s Theme”, and below, we have an unofficial clip for you to listen to.

While there are a ton of videos of Skrillex dropping the track “Equinox” in his live set, this is the first time we have seen a studio version of the track. According to First Class Noise, the fine folks who have provided the track below, no one is “sure if this is the full-quality version or not.”
