Tonight in Manchester, UK, Bon Iver will kick off their tour of Europe, which is almost entirely sold-out already. In case you were unable to get tickets, check out Justin Vernon as he is joined by his eight man band to perform the track “Towers” on Later with Jools Holland. “Towers” is from Bon Iver’s self-titled release, which is currently available though Jagjaguwar.
Earlier today, Hometapes announced that Durham, NC’s Megafaun will be releasing their self-titled LP on September 20th. Check out the teaser video below, and get excited!

Bachelorette, the solo project of New Zealand’s Annabel Alpers, is set to release her self-titled album on May 17th through Drag City. Below, we have the track “Blanket”, which features a pop melody of Alpers’ ethereal vocals and a very minimal synth line.

Thanks to our friends over at SKoA, we have a full stream of the remastered self-titled debut from Josh Homme’s Queens of the Stone Age. Domino Records very quickly sold out of the rerelease of the “How To Handle A Rope” 7”(so happy we grabbed a copy) but the remastered Queens of the Stone Age is currently available for pre-order here.
Last year, Eskmo released his self-titled album on Ninja Tune, which happened to be one of our top listens of 2010 (even though it didn’t make the top 20 list.) The London-based artist Alessio Natalizia, aka Banjo or Freakout, is set to release his self-titled debut in the US on March 8th through Rare Book Room (March 7th for the UK) and below, we have the entire album streaming for your pleasure. Today marks my first exposure to Banjo or Freakout and all I can say is that his blend of electronic, indie rock, folk, and bedroom pop is certainly nothing to sleep on.
