Music for Perfect People

Last month, Green Label Sound’s Classixx busted out a killer dance track titled “Into the Valley.” If you thought the party was going to stop with the original, than you should hold on to your hats, as the electro two-piece YACHT have gone ahead and remixed the track. Take a listen/download the track, but first check out what YACHT had to say about the remix:

“We’ve been waiting for the chance to return the favor and make a remix for Classixx ever since the amazing Psychic City remix they made for us. We like to make remixes that really alter the structure and sometimes message of the original, while maintaining the overall spirit inside. ‘Into the Valley’ has one of the most inspired vocals that we’ve heard in recent memory. It was an honor to make/break this song.”

Somewhere amongst the late nights and travel, Theophilus London, with the help of his friends Devonté Hynes and Solange Knowles, has managed to write and record his 2nd official single, the gorgeous “Flying Overseas.” The track  was recorded in Park Slope, Brooklyn in January 2010 and then further worked on in LA. London said that “This song is about a kid from Brooklyn having dreams of jetting off to an exotic land with a loved one. I want to inspire kids to travel. Traveling inspires my music the most. It has inspired the entire album I just finished writing.”

Yesterday, we got teased by “Drunk Girls”. Second verse, same as the first.
