“Scorpion Move” is the latest single to be released from the 22-year old German producer Zedd and features the young artist trying his hand at experimental dubstep. Grab a listen below and make sure to download yourself a free copy of the single!
Zedd will be releasing another new single titled “Stars Come Out” on November 22 through Dim Mak. Additionally, his debut album Autonomy is set to drop at some point in February 2012 on OWSLA.

For Activision’s release of their latest game GoldenEye 007: Reloaded, Camo & Krooked reworked the “James Bond Theme” from it’s original swanky sound into a full-on orchestral dubstep piece. While I can’t imagine James Bond sipping on his “shaken, not stirred” martinis at a dubstep show, the rework is worth a listen!

Check out the latest release from Derek Sabiston, which comes in the form of a remix of Tiësto‘s single “Maximal Crazy.” According to Sabiston, the remix “keeps all the energy of the original electro house banger, but a little wobble and drum work make it a great addition to any dubstep set.”

A few weeks back, Pretty Lights released a new single “I Know The Truth,” along with a recap of his 2011 Bonnaroo performance. In regards to the track, Pretty Lights said
“I wanted to try to fuse the emotion of dark 60′s soul music with the energy of raw bass heavy dubstep. All the instruments were recorded to tape and then pressed to vinyl and then sampled for the sole purpose of attaining a warm organic timbre, and all the bass and synth sounds were reprocessed through analog synth modules to get a dirtier and at the same time warm tone.”
Additionally, Pretty Lights has released a remix of his Filling Up The City Skies single “How We Do.” The video is a recap of this year’s Lollapalooza festival, which we sadly were unable to attend.

By creating a collage of Led Zeppelin tracks and then adding elements of classic rock, hip-hop, downtempo, and dubstep, Pretty Lights continues to bend genres, and redefines what it means to create a remix.

A few months ago, the up-and-coming dubstepper Skrillex took to this twitter/facebook account to let his fans know that he had lost his music files due to a theft of some equipment. Lucky for us, Skrillex has been working hard to bang out some new tracks in his studio, which is currently set up in his tour bus. A few days ago, Diplo released his Moombahton 2k11 Mix, which will certainly be cranked many times by us throughout the summer. Included on the mix is the Diplo and Skrillex collaboration, “Amplifier,” which features a blend of tropical, electro beats, with some good ole fashioned bass wobble. PS .. Diplo must have known that we LOVE sloths!
