The synth-filled, experimental group Black Moth Super Rainbow have released a demo teaser for their forthcoming album, which is tentatively titled Psychic Love Damage, and will be out “ out sometime in the distant future.”

From Forest Swords:

‘Fjree Feather’ consists of early Forest Swords demo material, specially remastered by Mikko Gordon and released on limited edition white vinyl 12″ via London label No Pain In Pop. Previously only available on CDR prior to the release of 2010′s ‘Dagger Paths E.P’.

All money raised from the release will be donated to the Red Cross’s tsunami recovery efforts in Japan.

The Red Cross is currently helping over 280,000 people in the country move from shelters into temporary pre-fabricated housing, providing them with domestic items and the means to return to a normal life following March’s disaster.

Below, are the tracks “Kaibasa Clap,” and “Trust Your Blood,” for you to check. Both tracks are taken from the Fjree Feather EP.

Today, you can grab yourself a cassette of demos from DYI shredder Marnie Stern that date back to 1996. Some of the different versions of these tracks made their way on to Stern’s 2007 debut In Advance of the Broken Arm.

“It may be late but it’s just in time! Me and BJ holed up in his room yesterday and today and wrote and recorded this Christmas original. The rest of the band was out of town so we decided to include voicemails they left us. this also marks the song debut of our humble manager and mentor Geoffrey Sawyer. He’s the dude that sounds like Barry White at the end.”

Ever have a dream where you feel like you are just walking and walking  and your pace is just getting slower as your body becomes heavier and heavier? This is how I would best describe the new track that Fat Cat Records just posted  from Fur Hood titled “1 And The Sky Was As A Shield.” This isn’t to say that this track is dragged out, but rather that the tempo and instrumental effects make “1 And The Sky Was As A Shield” feel as though the band is trudging along through a path of psychedelic sounds.

El-P just dropped a tweet that he released a previously lost demo of the rack “Everything Must Go.” In regards to the track, El-P said that “this was the original demo of “everything must go” from 2007s ISWYD album. it was revamped for the record so this version has been tucked away in the files for years. enjoy!”
