Earlier this week, DJ/Producer RJD2 and vocalist Aaron Livingston premiered The Abandoned Lullaby, which is the duo’s debut release as Icebird. Whether he is operating solo, as The Insane Warrior, or now as Icebird, RJD2 never fails to serve up delicious beats that showcase his unique style of production. Add the smooth vocals of Livingston and you’ve got yourself a solid record, which cannot be missed.

Additionally, Icebird, along with Soundcloud and Native Instruments, is holding a remix competition for the single “Charmed Life.” The contest runs until October 31, and the grand prize winner will receive a pro account with Soundcloud for a year and a MASCHINE MIKRO + KOMPLETE 8 from Native Instruments. Last weekend, Pretty Lights debuted his new stage show to the crowds of Bonnaroo, and performed for over three hours, until the run began to rise. For those of you unable to make it to Tennessee for the event, we have a video recap of PL’s performance, which also features a brand new track titled “I Know The Truth.” CHECK IT!

Additionally, Pretty Lights Music has signed the artist Gramatik to their roster! To celebrate, check out Gramatik’s remix of the Pretty Light’s track “Still Night,” along with his latest single “So Much For Love,” which is available for a free download.

The London-based artist Alessio Natalizia, aka Banjo or Freakout, is set to release his self-titled debut in the US on March 8th through Rare Book Room (March 7th for the UK) and below, we have the entire album streaming for your pleasure. Today marks my first exposure to Banjo or Freakout and all I can say is that his blend of electronic, indie rock, folk, and bedroom pop is certainly nothing to sleep on.
