Earlier today, we brought you the new video from TV On The Radio for the Nine Types of Light single “Caffeinated Consciousness.” Apparently, we pulled the trigger a little early on that post as we have known found a Das Racist remix of the single, thanks to a twitter post.

In a recent Vitamin Water add from France, the company makes the claim that “a music band following you everywhere is like an mp3 player, only better.” To prove their point, the commercial features the synth pop trio We Are Enfant Terrible, who you may recall had that catchy single “Wild Child.”

On August 2nd, Bassnectar‘s latest effort Divergent Spectrum will be available to all the bassheads out there. Currently, pre-orders have been set up for the release, and include DS t-shirts, a deluxe double vinyl, a limited edition screenprinted posters, hats, and other miscellaneous items. For those of you who cannot wait until August 2nd for the release, we have a preview of Divergent Spectrum, below, which is streaming from the Bassnectar website. Additionally, Bassnectar has leaked his remix of Gogol Bordello‘s ”Immigraniada,” which “represents the gypsy-punk wildstyle part of the spectrum, taking things out of the ordinary, and taking unexpected turns.”

From his latest album Leisure Seizure, check out the video for Tom Vek‘s single “Aroused.” In an interview with Nowness, Vek described the video as ”a nod to the way in which smoking is used heavily and quite innocently in art and fashion,” and continued to say that “it represents feelings of being overwhelmed and extremities—both of which tie in with the sentiment of the album.” [via]

With the RX Bandits announcement that this summer’s tour would be there last, many fans are left wondering what the members of the band will do now that their main project is coming to a close. Well, Sargent House has responded by releasing information for a new project titled ME&LP, which is a collaboration between two of the labels’ greats: Matt Embree, and Lisa Papineau. On August 9th, the duo will release Chez Raymond, which is a 6-song EP that will include the single ” La Bella Tocade.”

Maps & Atlases latest video for their Perch Pathcwork single, “Isareli Caves,” serves as an alternative version of the Goldilocks story. The difference between the orignal story, and the Maps & Atlases’ version, is that the latter shows the bears doing the thieving, while a small boy is the victim. In order to defeat the bears, the young man creates a list, which includes the following points:

(1.) Get Strong.
(2.) Learn Kung Fu.
(3.) Locate cowardly thieving redneck bears.
(4.) Become Ninja.
(5.) Exact Revenge

From his long-awaited debut Within and Without, Washed Out (aka Ernest Greene) has released a video for the lead single “Eyes Be Closed.” My copy of Within and Without arrived late last week, and since then, I haven’t stopped spinning the gorgeous baby blue vinyl. At the end of July, fans of Melbourne’s Cut Copy will be treated to the release of a handful of remixes for the Zonoscope single “Blink And You’ll Miss A Revolution.” The 12”will be distributed through Modular Recordings, and will include remixes from Toro y Moi, Chicken Lips, Das Moth & Kenji Takimi, Tornado Wallace and Henning Furst.

While we do not have an exact release date for the remix bundle, we do have the Toro y Moi remix of the single for you to check out.

Apparently, the Horrors latest effort Skying leaked over the weekend, and so the band decided to stream the entire album via their website! For those looking for a physical copy of the album, the UK lucked out with a July 11th release date, while the US will have to wait until August 9th.

Additionally, a video for the Skying single “Still Life” has made its way to the interwebs, which you can peep below ..
