LISTEN TO THIS :: Mariachi El Bronx – “48 Roses”

June 28, 2011

Los Angeles California’s The Bronx have had a hell of spring. They’ve opened for Flaming Lips, Foo Fighters, and Dave Matthews (que??), played a NYC booze cruise that separated the boys from the men, and announced the second record from their spicy alter-ego Mariachi El Bronx. In the band’s grand tradition of who-gives-a-fuck-about-album-names album names, it’ll be called MariachI El Bronx II, and will pop out August 2 via ATO.

The first track from El II just premiered on WNYC, and of course we’ve slapped their embed code below. It’s gorgeous. They’re also playing this evening at Brooklyn Bowl, which is free with RSVP. Hit it.
