Bear Hands are ready to set out on tour (dates below) to promote their latest effort Burning Bush Supper Club, and to celebrate, they are giving away some free remixes of the single “High Society.” One such remix is Hard Mix‘s downtempo version of the track, which is ready for you to enjoy in the player below. From their “folk,” mini-album thecontrollersphere, of Montreal have released a video for the single “L’age D’or.” I wonder if Kevin Barnes & co. ever get tired of trying to outdo their oddball antics for each release/video, or if this is just who they are. The track has a “folk” sound only in a way that of Montreal could have imagined, and the visuals follow in a similar fashion.

Last week, the LA-based quartet Superhumanoids released a limited 7” titled “Mikelah” B/W “A Crowded Hour.” Earlier today, COS Cluster 1 premiered the visual accompaniment to the b-side track, which features footage from an airplane window. Dreamy enough?

After one listen through Washed Out‘s Sub Pop debut Within and Without, you will get the sense that Ernest Greene’s one-man, bedroom project has evolved in a big way. Where earlier recordings give the sense that Greene was “trapped” in a room, with nothing more than an array of synthesizers, Within and Without features a larger sound that holds true to Washed Out’s distinct brand of lo-fi, chillwave, pop music.

After a two year break, Black Moth Super Rainbow is set to head back out on the road, and is even in the process of recording a new album! To keep fans connected, the band has set up a soundcloud page where they will post unreleased material, teasers, and outtakes. Currently, there is an all bass cover of “Drippy Eye,” which features Mike Watt, Flea, and K, along with a brand new Tobacco track title “Streaker.”
