ON TOUR :: The Bronx/Mariachi El Bronx
May 18, 2011
Los Angeles, California’s The Bronx have just announced the last boat trip you’ll ever go on. The punk/rock/hardcore/whatever band will play a 3 hour show aboard the SS Queen of Hearts, which casts off from New York City’s Pier 40 on June 22. This 21+ booze cruise has a strict capacity of 500, so get a ticket while you can. We suggest leaving any lady-friends at home.
The Bronx’s alter ego (and dead serious) Mariachi El Bronx will be opening for The Flaming Lips in Atlanta on May 19 and 20. Also, they will be opening for the Foo Fighters, along with Rise Against, this fall. Check out their full slate of dates here, and a studio performance via Converse below.Related Posts:

May 17, 2011A few months ago, we brought you the Voodoo Farm remix of Adele‘s “Rolling In The Deep,” which featured samples of Jay-z, and Biggie. Apparently, Liam Dirlam (of Voodoo Farm) felt that the original mix was solid “but the sound was over-compressed and didn’t BANG in the speakers like it should have.” Lucky for us, Dirlams’ work ethic caused him to get “surgical on that bitch” and remaster the track into even more of a banger! Check it out below ..
