Fans of the lovely videos Blogotheque released of Beirut should rejoice as the entire DVD is now available for free download! Read up on the project below and make sure to grab yourself a copy.
On September 2007, Chryde and Vincent Moon went to New York to film Beirut play all the tracks from the Flying Club Cup in bars, rooms, parks and even in an ice-cream truck garage. In the hour-long movie they brought back, Zach Condon wanders alone in Brooklyn and eventually finds, in each place, his band waiting for him, behind a door, on stairs..
Sadly, we sold out years ago this DVD.
Chris Peterson, a fan of Beirut, decided, with the consent of BadaBing (Beirut’s label) and ours, to upload and share files from the DVD (read the story).
