LISTEN :: Babel Fishh + Edison – ’667: The Guild We Hold Close’ EP
December 14, 2010
Yesterday, Babel Fishh & Edison unleashed their astonishing 667: The Guild We Hold Close EP via Decorative Stamp. The six tracks were composed by Edison “as the beginnings of a series of producer EP’s, and penned to in the darkest of texas winters by Babel Fishh.” The tracks are “a tightly-woven expedition into the mind of it’s chief protagonist, and serves as the next magnificent chapter in the ongoing musical endeavors of the 667 Guild.” [via]
The EP is available now from Decorative Stamp as an ultra-limited cd edition, hand-made by Babel Fishh himself. The disc comes in a card sleeve with postage stamp, and includes a two-sided lyric sheet, additional artwork and a decorative stamp sticker. The digital download includes treats in the form of lyric sheets, artwork and a print quality version of the flyer. Do be sure to secure yourself a copy, should you see fit.
The beats are dope and the vocals are remind me a bit of Aesop Rock. You’ve read the info .. now listen/buy the EP below ..
