PLEASE MASH US UP WITH GUCCI MANE!
Since Anamanaguchi and Gucci Mane have some similar letter pairings in their names, it makes complete sense that they be combined to Anamanagucci Mane. If you plan on creating a clever band name, however, there had best be some awesome mixes to back up the project. Luckily, “I’m The Sh1t” and “Stoopid Relix” do not disappoint as 8-bit chiptunes are combined with the vocal stylings of Gucci Mane. Who knew?!

Comments rss TrackbackPortugal. The Man certainly are the band that never sleeps. Not only have they been consistent with their touring but they have also been busy recording new material in preparation of two/three releases next year.
While 2011 is still a few months away and we have yet to get any official news regarding the releases, we do have two videos of some new material that were recorded at a show in Omaha. The video/audio can be a bit blurry at times but it still gives us something to look forward to!

Tahiti 80 was formed by multi instrumentalists Xavier Boyer, Médéric Gontier, Sylvain Marchand & Pedro Resende in France in the mid-90′s. Since then, the group has released 9 EPs and 4 full-length albums. Their latest EP, Solitary Buziness, is out now as a prelude to their fifth full-length The Past, The Present & The Possible, which will be out February 2011. Mansions on the Moon is the latest project from Lane Shaw and Ben Hazlegrove (of Pnuma Trio) along with singer/songwriter, Ted Wendler. The group formed a little over a year ago, developing their signature sound at studios in Atlanta and Virginia Beach and have since collaborated with N*E*R*D, Diplo, DJ Benzi and Chiddy Bang‘s Xaphoon Jones.
Paradise Falls, presented by Diplo and DJ Benzi illustrates the wide range of Mansions on the Moon’s musical capabilities. The band is currently in Los Angeles recording their debut album with tour dates to be announced in the early part of 2011. [via]
