CHECK IT :: Built to Spill re-record tracks as 80′s 12 inch remix
August 3, 2010
Intriguing eh? Apparently Doug Martsch and Brett Nelson of Built to Spill have gotten tired of jamming out their indie rock in its normal fashion and have turned to re-recording a few BTS tracks “in the vein of the 80′s 12 inch remix.” The two have worked on these remakes under the name The Electronic Anthology Project and have even released a 7 song self-titled album which can be bought at CD Baby or at one of BTS’ tour dates.
Below, you can check out the tracklist for The Electronic Anthology Project, which has the EAP title of the tune (an anagram of of the original) followed by the original track title. There are currently three tracks streaming over at the duo’s myspace page but we also have “Eels”, aka “Else”, for you to check out ..
