The Dead Weather have announced their first public show, and surprise, surprise, it’s taking place in the borough of Manhattan. Jack and the boys (and girls) will be taking the stage at Bowery Ballroom on April 14th. Tickets go on sale tomorrow at 10:00.
Proving reports of an impending plea deal to be false (at least for the time being), Chris Brown yesterday pleaded not guilty at his arraignment stemming from his February 8th altercation with girlfriend Rihanna. Rihanna’s lawyers are hoping a plea is reached as it is inevitable she would have to testify if the case goes to trial. Chris’ next court date is scheduled for April 29th.
Billboard is reporting The Jayhawks have announced they will reunite for two shows this summer. The shows, will take place May 30th in Barcelona, Spain at the Primavera Sound Festival, and July 10th in Minneapolis at the Basilica Block Party.
Ben Harper’s new band the Relentless7 have announced a string of tour dates in support of the release of their new album White Lies for Dark Times. The tour kicks off April 30th in New Orleans. You can see a full list of tourdates at Paste. White Lies for Dark Times is set to be released on Cinco de Mayo.
